Guidelines – Admission to the grade of Engineering Technician Graduate Member

1. All applicants must possess qualifications accepted as equivalent to an accredited Diploma in engineering from a polytechnic/college/institution approved by MQA or has obtained an equivalent qualification approved by the Council.
    
2. One copy of the following documents duly CERTIFIED need to be submitted together with the application:
    
   1. Diploma in engineering from a Polytechnic/ college/Institution together with result/academic transcript (in Bahasa Malaysia / English version is required)
   2. All documents attained for entry to Polytechnic / local college, from SPM / STPM / Matriculation (if any) onwards
       
3. If the Diploma in engineering do not show the Division/Branch/Discipline, applicants are required to submit additional secondary document (eg: subject Result slip, Department's letter etc.) to indicate the Discipline.
    
4. Proposer for this Application:
    
   1. Your Proposer has to be a Corporate Member of IEM (M.I.E.M/F.I.E.M)
   2. The Proposer is expected to certify the supporting documents to be uploaded to this Online Application by respond to the email entitle ‘Request to be Proposer / Seconder’ which will be sent to the Proposer on the same day of Online Application submission.
