BIODATA OF SPEAKER
Ir. Tajul Ariffin Bin Mohamed Nori, is currently with the Forensic Engineering Division of the Department of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH), Malaysia. With over fifteen years of experience in Occupational Safety and Health and Machineries failure investigation, he specializes in post-event workplace accident investigations, failure analysis, and forensic engineering. Ir. Tajul has been involved in various workplace accident investigations, including those in the construction industry, factories, and power plants, dealing with fatality cases, dangerous occurrences, near misses, structural failures, heavy machinery accidents, and work-related occupational diseases. Passenger lift accidents is one of the common machinery accidents carried out by the Forensic Engineering Division Team. Ir. Tajul Ariffin is currently the chairman of Safety in Engineering Special Interest Group (SESIG) IEM.
