In Conjunction with World Engineering Day Celebration from 1st March till 7th March 2025
SYNOPSIS
Vertical transportation was claimed to be very safe for human to travel vertically in a highrise building. However, accidents involving this kind of machinery still happened in the modern life. What could be the cause of some passenger lift failure that we can learn from and prevent any future recurrence. Are the important safety elements being overlooked? Join this talk for some real scenario of lift accidents, providing valuable insights into the causes, consequences, and, most importantly, what could be learn from this kind of accidents. Explore some common causes behind elevator accidents, including mechanical failures, improper maintenance, and human error. Gain a deeper understanding of the potential risks associated with elevator use. New Laws governing the handling of passenger lift will be included in the talk session to raise awareness among those involved with the elevator safety management. Don't miss this invaluable opportunity to deepen your understanding of elevator safety.
