SYNOPSIS
Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles are essential for guiding companies across all sectors towards sustainable and ethical operations. ESG now aligns business practices with global goals like the UN Sustainable Development Goals and net-zero targets, helping organizations address non-financial risks and opportunities critical to long-term resilience and performance. Modern ESG strategies leverage data, technology, and stakeholder engagement, focusing on measurable outcomes and transparent reporting through frameworks like GRI, SASB, and ISSB. Companies are prioritizing actions such as renewable energy use, carbon reduction, diversity and inclusion, and ethical governance to address climate change, social equity, and corporate transparency. By integrating ESG into their core strategies, businesses not only mitigate risks and meet compliance standards but also drive innovation and growth, ensuring a sustainable and equitable future while remaining competitive in a rapidly evolving market.
In this webinar, we will introduce the IEM Simplified ESG Disclosure Guidelines and demonstrate how they can support your organization in developing a clear and actionable ESG strategy. These guidelines provide a streamlined approach to addressing environmental, social, and governance priorities, helping you identify key risks and opportunities, align with international standards, and enhance transparency in stakeholder communication. Whether you are beginning your ESG journey or refining existing practices, this session will equip you with introduction to build a robust and impactful sustainability journey.
