SYNOPSIS

The Megajana District Cooling Plant is a cooling plant that produces and distributes chilled water to buildings in Cyberjaya to be used in the centralised air conditioning systems in these buildings. District cooling systems are highly efficient, reducing the energy required for air conditioning systems, reducing operational cost and the carbon footprint of building occupancy.

Participants will have the opportunity to observe the operation of the plant, including the central chiller plants, thermal energy storage systems, distribution network control centre, and energy management and monitoring systems, while gaining an appreciation of the economic and environmental benefits district cooling plants bring to the surrounding locality.
