SYNOPSIS
This workshop shall discuss the risk assessment, design, installation and maintenance of protection against lightning for buildings with roof top solar PV complying with circulars, guidelines and similar of Suruhanjaya Tenaga (ST), Bomba and Sustainable Energy Development Authority (SEDA), and protection against lightning standards, namely, MS IEC 62305 series: Protection Against Lightning and IEC TR 63227:2020: Lightning and surge voltage protection for photovoltaic (PV) power supply systems. Additionally, we shall discuss protection against lightning for people in open field where protection against lightning is not practical.
