SYNOPSIS
In Malaysia, Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) reporting is increasingly important.Bursa Malaysia has mandated that all public listed companies (“PLC”) is compulsory to disclose their sustainability inclusive of past 3 years data from the financial year end 2023 on wards as part of the listing requirements. Although currently, the requirements for mandatory sustainable reporting are only mandated for public listed company, the Small to Medium Enterprises (SMEs) need to start to adopt sustainable reporting to identify and manage sustainability risk. The course aims to provide insight on ESG disclosure and Sustainable Reporting in Malaysia and provide guidance in preparing Sustainable Report that is inline with local and international standards.

BIODATA OF SPEAKER
Ir. Ts. Wong Chee Fui
Ir. Ts. Wong Chee Fui is a Specialist at Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR). He holds a MSc degree in Highway and Transport Engineering and a B.Eng. Degree in Civil Engineering, both from Universiti Putra Malaysia. Ir. Ts. Wong is a Professional Engineer with Practicing Certificate (P.Eng),Professional Technologist (P.Tech); Certified Construction Project Manager (CCPM), Honorary Member of AFEO; Fellow of the Institution of Engineers, Malaysia (FIEM), Fellow of Technological Association Malaysia (FTAM), Fellow of ASEAN Academy of Engineering and Technology (FAAET) and Fellow of the Academy of Engineering and Technology of Developing World (AETDEW)
Internationally Ir. Ts. Wong is registered as International Professional Engineer (IntPE) , APEC Engineer; ASEAN Engineer and ASEAN Chartered Professional Engineer (ACPE).
Ir. Ts. Wong has been involved in the design, project management and implementation of major construction projects both internationally and locally in which he has gained extensive exposure in the construction sector. His experiences include highway infrastructure design, water supply management, water resources and dam constructions, sewerages, landfills and waste management.
Moderator Profile
Dr. Doh is an accomplished civil engineer and academic dedicated to the principle of “think global, act local.” He earned his Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS) in 2012 and brings five years of hands-on industry experience, having served in diverse roles from site engineer to contract manager. Currently, he is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Civil Engineering Technology, Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA).
A passionate researcher, Dr. Doh has secured over 30 research projects spanning local and international scopes. He also holds visiting professorships at esteemed institutions, including Beijing Jiaotong University, Ningxia University, and Liuzhou Railway Vocational Technical College. With over 100 articles published in leading journals, he is a recognized expert in his field and provides valuable consultation and training services to both government and private sectors.
