This Seminar / talk is tailored for everyone associated with the design, selection, and installation of fire-resistant ductwork systems.

The seminar covers the dangers and pitfalls in not selecting a properly tested & certificated fire rated ductwork system and not having it installed by competent and fully trained contractors, by describing:

•   How Fire Rated Ductwork is Constructed & Installed

We will share with the participants our experience and knowledge gained locally and internationally, thus contributing to maintain and enforce a high standard of fire safety in buildings and facilities, to ensure a safe and secure place for the occupants to live, work and play.


BIODATA OF SPEAKER

1) Mr. Pieter D'hont

Pieter is an experienced Business Manager with a demonstrated history of working in the international building materials and chemical industry. He has joined Flamebar (Firespray International Ltd.) and Incendin in 2019. Based in Belgium, Pieter is currently leading the Flamebar Business line. Previously, he worked at a Belgian based international construction material manufacturer.

As a professional in the fire protection and passive fire safety industry, Pieters expertise lies in promoting and implementing cutting-edge fire containment technologies, including Incendin and Flamebar, that ensure the safety and resilience of buildings across diverse sectors.

Pieter successfully managed multiple large-scale projects where Flamebar solutions were used to guarantee the fire safety of ventilation, smoke extraction, and pressurization ducts in complex environments such as hospitals, airports, and commercial high-rises.


2) Mr. K.T. Tan (Roger)

Roger has more than 30 years international experience in technical sales of building & construction related products, including several years in acoustics systems, when he collaborated with owners and consultants in solving noise related problems in buildings, building services, production facilities, transportation & marine environment, etc.

Roger joined Firespray International Limited (now part of Incendin Belgium since 2018) in early 2006 and has since been responsible for technical sales for the company’s passive fire protection, fire rated ductwork, and acoustic coating products, primarily in the Asia Pacific region. He works closely with and provide supports to the relevant authorities, project owners, project management, consultants, and contractors, to ensure the fire protection and sound & vibration control products and systems provided by Incendin-Flamebar are properly applied and installed.
