• The Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) industry plays a significant role in shaping modern living environment, providing comfort and convenience while consuming a substantial amount of resources and energy. • In response to the growing recognition of environmental concerns and the need for sustainable practices, there has been a notable shift towards integrating sustainability principles into every stage of the HVAC business lifecycle, from design, manufacturing and installation to operation and disposal. • This seminar offers a comprehensive exploration of sustainable practices within the air conditioning industry, demonstrating how businesses can adopt environmentally responsible strategies to reduce their carbon footprint and contribute to a more sustainable future. • The seminar is paired with a technical visit to showcase manufacturer capable of implementing sustainability at every stage of HVAC through real demonstrations.
BIODATA OF SPEAKERS
1) Ts. Lim Vincent
After earning a B.Sc. in Architecture from Taylor’s University in 2011, Ts. Lim Vincent practiced architecture for three years before shifting to sustainability. He served as an Associate at BGreen Consultancy, Director at BGreen Conevo, and is now Director at Conevo Green Consultancy. With a decade of experience in green building, he has led over 100 projects across Malaysia, with several receiving recognition from the National Energy Award and ASEAN Energy Award.
Vincent also serves as Vice President of malaysiaGBC, having been a Council Member since 2017. He is currently working to standardize certain parameters across various Green Building Rating Tools in Malaysia.
2) Ir. Peter Law Huan Ping Electrical Principal, AD Consultants (M) Sdn Bhd Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) Electrical & Electronics Engineering, University of Tenaga Nasional.
Ir. Peter Law has more than 13 years working experience in Contracting and Consultant Firms in the Construction Industry, in Malaysia. His experience stretches from building right up to Renewable, Sustainable Engineering and Building Information Modeling (BIM). Together with his team, he developed detailed 3D MEP models using Autodesk Revit for various construction projects including residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. Collaborating with architects, C&S engineers, and contractors to integrate BIM models into the project lifecycle, enhancing coordination, reducing conflicts and minimizing material wastage
3) Mr. Phuan Yoong Chin Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering, University Putra Malaysia (UPM)
Phuan Yoong Chin possesses over a decade of experience in the HVAC industry. His professional journey commenced with a foundational role as a mechanical engineer at a M&E consulting firm, where he developed his expertise over a three-year period. He then joined a company specializing in mechanical ventilation, where he furthered his skills for four years.
Subsequently, he advanced to Daikin as a Senior Engineer in consulting sales, where he is involved in air-conditioning design and focuses on delivering efficient, sustainable air-conditioning solutions.
