SYNOPSIS
The topic will cover our experience in designing, prototyping, testing, productizing and commercializing the IoT solutions. It will highlight the things we did right, the opportunities that we could have leveraged on and finally what it takes to commercialize and sustain a product in market.

BIODATA OF SPEAKER
DR. SHARIQ HASEEB (PhD)
Experienced productization and commercialization specialist, with over 15 years of working experience in hardcore digital technology platforms, to technology roadmap development, to productization of new technology and commercialization of in-house developed products.
Currently, Dr. Shariq is Head of Innovation and Portfolio Management at TM R&D. He is responsible for delivering commercial revenue for TM R&D and is in charge of commercialization of TM R&D products and platforms. His experience is in supporting TM’s own telecommunication use cases and also external markets both in Malaysia and Internationally.
Over the past 15 years, Shariq has worked with 2 start-ups to chart out their technology and business operation plans. Shariq has also worked with MIMOS, where his work focused on research in the area of Next Generation Networks and has produced more than 60 patents and 15 publications in the field of Communication Networks. Shariq completed his degree and Phd from International Islamic University Malaysia in 2003 and 2021 respectively, majoring in Communication Networks.
