SYNOPSIS

This workshop is intended primarily to introduce the concept of Sabo structures in controlling the debris and sediment flows from headwaters as well as sizing and design of various components of the Sabo Dam structures with a case study.

***note: Hands-on training using spread-sheet and public domain software will be conducted, participants are encouraged to bring along notebook computer for the exercise.
