This talk will be discussing on some of the global trend in Facilities Management and way forward; i.e. Sustainable Facilities Management, Workplace Management, Technology Integration in Facilities Management, and Sejahtera Facilities Management. Overall, the global trends in Facilities Management reflect a shift towards more technology-driven, sustainable, and employee-centric practices. As these trends continue to evolve, FM will play a crucial role in shaping the future of how spaces are designed, maintained, and experienced.


BIODATA OF SPEAKER

Dr. Khairusy Syakirin Has-Yun Bin Hashim is an accomplished professional with a Ph.D. in Facilities Management, specializing in Waste Management from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia. He also holds an MSc in Facilities Management and Asset Maintenance from Heriot-Watt University, Scotland, and a Bachelor's in Quantity Surveying from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia.

With over two decades of experience, Dr. Khairusy currently serves as an academic at the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) and is also the Managing Director of KHL Fasiliti Solutions. His expertise spans various areas, including green building, carbon management, and Muslim-friendly tourism. Dr. Khairusy's contributions to academia and industry are well-recognized, making him a respected figure in his field.
