Is the “jurutera miskin”? Or is it a widespread misconception? The hybrid forum titled "Jurutera Miskin: Perception versus Reality?" will delve into these issues in depth, featuring five distinguished panelists from various engineering fields, namely Ir. Mazlan Che Ku Ahmad, the IEM Terengganu Chair;  Ir. Dr. Harris Abd. Rahman Sabri, PMTD Chair; Ir. Ts. Wan Rizaluddin Abdullah Wan Ali, PMTD Secretary/Treasurer; Ir. Dr. Azhar Arif, PMTD Advisor; and Dr. Abd. Rahman Abdul Rahim, PMTD Committee, representing civil, oil and gas, electrical and electronics, and mechanical engineering, as well as engineering education.

Each panelist will share their views in their respective fields, followed by a Q&A session with the audience. This is a unique opportunity to gain insights from industry experts on the true state of the engineering profession.

This hybrid forum sets the objectives of:
     1. Discussing the common perceptions of engineering careers and the financial realities of
          engineers.
     2. Evaluating the factors contributing to the financial well-being of engineers in various  
          industries.
     3. Providing valuable insights to students and young engineers about career paths and    
          financial opportunities.
