BACKGROUND

Pengerang Integrated Complex (PIC) is an integrated and sustainable petrochemical park, that is distinctively operated to create a competitive value for partners and society. Strategically located in southern Peninsular Malaysia, PIC occupies 6,303 acres of land area with close and easy access to major shipping lanes.

The megacomplex boasts some of the most advanced and versatile technologies that are coupled to the highest levels of Operational Safety and Excellence. PIC houses Malaysia's only Integrated Refinery, Steam Cracker and Petrochemical Plants, with the capacity to provide a reliable supply of feedstock.

The Refinery Complex and selected Petrochemical plants are owned and operated by Pengerang Refining Company Sdn. Bhd. and Pengerang Petrochemical Sdn. Bhd. (collectively known as PRefChem), a joint venture between PETRONAS, Malaysia and Saudi Aramco of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.


SAFETY NOTICE

• Participants are encouraged to wear casual dress pants and comfortable walking shoes for the visit.
• No Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for participants will be required.
• Participants may be denied entry to the PIC parking if they drive themselves directly to location.
