SYNOPSIS
To ensure the safety of electrical / water heater installations, it is crucial to adhere to established standards and practices. A recent study of 14 electrocution cases revealed that all incidents were directly linked to faulty installations or inadequate maintenance. To address this issue, Malaysia has implemented rigorous installation standards and continuously refined regulations. This presentation will delve into the root causes of these incidents, examining common safety lapses and exploring the effective solutions that have been implemented to enhance electrical safety.
