Turnaround work scope serves as the foundation for plant reliability, cost, and schedule. The main driver influencing competitiveness is minimizing the amount of scope and scope expansion throughout turnaround execution.
Scope management is an essential function which influence the degree of turnaround project success. Therefore, a turnaround’s cost, timeliness and quality are all directly impacted by a scope management process failure or uncertainty.
The speaker will share methodology and best practices in identification, selection, monitoring and control of scope during all phases of initiation, planning, execution and closure turnaround management to have improved performance. Anil is an accomplished professional with 29 years of experience in project and turnaround management, operational excellence, strategy development, maintenance system development in serving leading oil, gas and downstream industries in the world. Had participated and led various strategic initiatives for turnaround & project opportunity framing, systems and process improvement, cost control and cash generation in large-scale and complex turnaround projects in energy and petrochemical industries
Anil holds a Post Graduate Mechanical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi, India. He is certified Project management Professional PMP and is a Certified Lead Auditor for ISO9001 Quality Management System by Bureau Veritas and Lean Six Sigma Green Belt. He is an associate member of Malaysia Institute of Management. Possess excellent skills in leadership, teamwork, communication, reporting, interviewing, strategic decision making and analytics.
Outside of his professional domain, Anil is passionate about giving back to society by sharing his knowledge and developing others, within and outside the organization. He has delivered presentation / speaker at more than 20 international conferences on project, turnaround and Asset Management in Europe, Asia, Middle East, and Australia.
