SYNOPSIS
JKR has mandated that 50% of government project above RM 10 million to implement BIM since 2021 with increment of 10 % annually until 2025. At present, 70% of government project above RM 10 million are using BIM. Inline with the government’s direction, IEM HTETD is supporting this effort by introducing BIM In Infrastructure : Basic Family Creation to assist aspiring engineers to commence on the BIM journey.
Ts. Ainaa Bisyarah will be demonstrating the application of BIM in infrastructure projects using available softwares in accordance to the LOD required. This demonstration will be based on actual projects implemented on site. Ts. Ainaa Bisyarah will then demonstrate the creation of families of elements that are commonly used in infrastructure projects like bridge structures, drains, culverts, road furniture etc.
This seminar is envisaged to benefit engineers who wish to begin implementing BIM in their infrastructure projects by giving them a head start on the creation of families of infrastructure elements.
BIODATA OF SPEAKER
Ts. Ainaa Bisyarah Binti Mohd Yusoff
Ts. Ainaa Bisyarah Binti Mohd Yusoff has been involved in Building Information Modelling (BIM) both in building and infrastructure projects for the last 8 years. In her previous employment, she has been appointed as BIM Modeller, BIM Coordinator, BIM Trainer and BIM Specialist for various projects including Oxley Tower, Penang Sentral, MBSB Tower, Pan Borneo Highway, Kwasa Damansara, Pasir Hor and Flyover Wakaf Bharu.
Ts. Ainaa graduated from Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) in 2015. She is a graduate member of the Board of Engineers Malaysia and the Institution of Engineers, Malaysia as well as a Professional Technologist of the Malaysia Board of Technologist.
