SYNOPSIS
The talk will be touching on the progress of the Biomass Co-firing project at Malakoff’s Tg Bin Power Plant (TBPP) in Johor.
The project is one of the 10 identified projects under the National Energy Transition Roadmap (NETR) which Malakoff is co-championing with KPK (Ministry of Plantation and Commodities).
Currently, the biomass co-firing project is the first project to meet its intended targets under the NETR where it has already commenced burning 2% cofiring with biomass in April 2024.
