SYNOPSIS
Recognising the importance of testing and commissioning (T&C) especially in fire safety, IEM has recently published a guideline on testing and commissioning of fire protection systems. FAB is organising this webinar series to introduce not only the concept, objectives and application of this T&C guideline, but the critical aspects of the T&C requirements for each of the main active fire protection systems will also be discussed. The webinar topics will cover four main active fire protection systems, namely wet fire protection systems, fire detection and alarm systems, gaseous fire suppression systems and smoke control systems.
The IEM T&C Guideline is intended to provide a documented guideline so that the T&C activities are properly carried out with greater consistency and systematic execution with traceable records. This webinar series will discuss and show the key steps and T&C process activities that are recommended to be planned and executed, in order to achieve the objectives, set out in the T&C guideline. It is hoped that adopting this IEM Fire Protection System T&C Guideline will help enhance fire safety in premises.
