SPEAKER PROFILE
1) Ir. Mohd. Azha bin Abu Samah
Ir. Mohd Azha Abu Samah received his Bachelor in Electromechanical Engineering (Power Electrical) from the Free University of Brussels, Belgium (1991) and has Master of Project Management (MPM) from the Open University Malaysia (2015). He began his engineering career with Engineering Consultancy in 1991, where he worked for three years before joining Kinta Kellas - Project Management Company for six years as a Project Engineer for LRT 2 - PUTRA Project in Klang Valley. He was also involved in the development of Public Amenities projects in Putrajaya between year 2001 till 2008. He is currently heading the Project team in the Prasarana Group of Companies and is actively involved in electronic and electrical systems applied for Rail and Bus Industries. Ir.Azha is a member of the Engineering Competency Development Sub Committee, an active Mentor and also an active Professional Interviewer. He has also obtained his Project Management Professional (PMP) certification in 2016.
2) Ir. Han Seng Kong
Ir. Han Seng Kong is a Principal Lecturer and Deputy Dean of Faculty of Built Environment, Tunku Abdul Rahman University College. Prior to joining the academia in 2011, he has 18 years working experience as Structural Engineer, Senior Engineer and Associate in engineering consultancy specializing mainly in building structures. His present research interests include Structural Engineering, Building Information Modelling, Sustainability and Green Technology. Ir. Han is also a member of Malaysia Productivity Corporation (MPC) Professional Services Productivity Nexus (PSPN) Engineering Fraternity Industry Knowledge Group for BIM Level 2 Adoption. He is an IEM Professional Interviewer (Civil), IEM Mentor, member of IEM Engineering Competency Development Sub-committee and has actively spoken in workshops on IEM Log Book Training Scheme.
